About

As part of the province’s plan to prepare for future waves of COVID-19, local networks of infection prevention and control (IPAC) experts, called IPAC Hubs, have been developed across the province to support and enhance IPAC practices in community based, congregate living settings.

Organizations including hospitals, public health units and others from across the province lead local IPAC Hubs. These organizations are working with partners from across the local health system who have IPAC expertise to ensure that this specialized guidance and support is available to congregate living settings though a one-window model.

Who We Are

The Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph (WDG) IPAC Hub is one of three satellite sites under the Waterloo-Wellington IPAC Hub. Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health (WDG Public Health) is the lead organization for the WDG IPAC Hub and has dedicated IPAC hub staff working within our Infection Control team. Meet the Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph IPAC Hub.

WDG Public Health collaborates and engages with a network of community partners to help support congregate living settings and inform the work of the WDG IPAC Hub.
