The Pool and Spa online course is recommended for pool operators, spa operators, private pool owners and staff at public pools to ensure they have the knowledge and skills needed to maintain a safe swimming environment for all users.
The Pool and Spa course is free to take and is currently available in English.
About the course
The Pool and Spa online course covers topics such as:
- Role of Public Health Inspector
- Requirements under O. Reg. 565 - Public Pools
- Health risks and pool safety
- Pool maintenance including:
- Recirculation
- Filtration systems
- Disinfection
- Proper chemical levels
- Record keeping
The course must be completed within 30 days of registration. Upon completion, you will receive an electronic certificate with your name that you can print and save for your records.
