Smoking tobacco, cannabis, or using an electronic cigarette (vape) on school property is illegal, as is supplying or selling tobacco and electronic cigarettes to anyone under 19 years old. If you report a violation, an enforcement officer from Public Health will investigate and offer education or issue a warning or fine to the offender.

For school boards, it is recommended that the offender/student complete the Clear Choices E-Learning Course before an enforcement report is submitted.

School staff and resource officers can protect the health of youth by reporting violations to Public Health. Use one of these forms to do so.

• Enforcement Report: Selling or supplying tobacco/e-cigarettes to a person under 19 years old
• Enforcement Report: Smoking tobacco/cannabis or using an electronic cigarette on organization property
