Report Tobacco, Cannabis or Vape Use on School Property
Smoking tobacco, cannabis, or using an electronic cigarette (vape) on school property is illegal, as is supplying or selling tobacco and electronic cigarettes to anyone under 19 years old. If you report a violation, an enforcement officer from Public Health will investigate and offer education or issue a warning or fine to the offender.
Please note: If a student is found smoking or vaping on school property, school administrators or staff should ensure the student completes the Clear Choices learning module, available through the student Virtual Learning Environment, before contacting or submitting a report to WDG Public Health.
School staff and resource officers can protect the health of youth by reporting violations to Public Health. Use one of these forms to do so.
- Enforcement Report: Selling or supplying tobacco/e-cigarettes to a person under 19 years old
- Enforcement Report: Smoking tobacco/cannabis or using an electronic cigarette on organization property
