Climate Change and Health Vulnerability Assessment

Climate change is a defining Public Health challenge of the 21st century and is already impacting the health of Canadians. To better understand local vulnerabilities to climate change, Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health and Region of Waterloo Public Health partnered to conduct a Climate Change and Health Vulnerability Assessment (CCHVA). Visit wdgpublichealth.ca/ClimateChangeandHealth to view.

Second Booster Dose Appointments

Adults age 60+ and First Nations, Inuit and Métis adults, including non-Indigenous household members (age 18+) are eligible to receive a second booster (fourth dose for most) of COVID-19 vaccine with a minimum interval of 3 months (84 days) following your last dose. Drop in or book your appointment today.

K-12 Student Immunization Catch-up Clinics

Public Health is offering limited catch-up immunization clinic dates for WDG students from K-12 over the coming months. Locations with available dates for appointments can be found in the online booking system at wdgpublichealth.ca/appointments. More information about school immunizations at wdgpublichealth.ca/ISPA.
