Low-Cost Birth Control

If you’re under 24 and don’t have a drug plan, you may qualify for birth control at a lower cost. Call us to learn more and see if you’re eligible.

IUD Services

An intrauterine device (IUD) is a long-acting, reversible method of birth control. There are two types: hormonal and non-hormonal (copper).
We offer:

  • IUD consultations
  • Insertion
  • Renewal
  • Removal

Emergency Contraception

Missed a pill? Had unprotected sex? Condom broke?

Emergency contraception can help prevent pregnancy. Book an appointment or speak to one of our nurses about the best option for you.

Missed a Pill?

It happens! Take your “late” pill as soon as you remember it if it has been less than 24 hours. Here is what to do if it has been 24 hours or more.

Week 1

Take 2 pills as soon as possible.

Use condoms for the next 7 days.

Take the emergency contraceptive pill (Plan B) if you’ve had unprotected sex in the last five days or if you have unprotected sex in the next 7 days.

You are not protected from pregnancy until you take your birth control every day for 7 days.

Week 2 or 3

Take 2 pills as soon as possible.

Finish your package.

No extra protection or emergency contraception needed.

Week 4
(if using a 28-pill pack)

None.

Start your next package on time.

No extra protection needed. These pills are inactive.
If you start your next package late, use condoms for 7 days.

Missed more than one pill

  • Take two pills as soon as possible and continue taking your pills as usual.
  • Use condoms for the next seven days.
  • Take the emergency contraceptive pill (Plan B) if you’ve had unprotected sex in the last five days.
  • If you have unprotected sex in the seven days after you miss pills, take the emergency contraceptive pill (Plan B).
