UPDATE: Test results for Victoria’s Nails infection control lapse

March 23, 2020

If you were tested for hepatis B, hepatitis c and HIV at Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health or at the University of Guelph Health Services in response to the Victoria’s Nails infection control lapse, you will only be contacted if you have a positive result. In other words, no news is good news. Please note that this information may be different from what you received during your appointment.

If you received services from Victoria’s Nails between April 20, 2018 and February 21, 2020 and have not yet been tested, we urge you to contact your family doctor to arrange testing. We currently do not have any appointments available at Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph for further testing.

Unless you were told otherwise by the nurse, patients are advised to go for follow-up testing in 6 months following your initial test. At that time, please visit University of Guelph Health Services, or visit wdgpublichealth.ca at to see your options for follow-up testing.
