Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health is encouraging members of the public to take a short, anonymous online survey about cannabis, cannabis use behaviours and the impact of cannabis use. Understanding knowledge and attitudes about cannabis will help WDG Public Health monitor the impact of cannabis legalization in the region and identify ways to support residents with programs and services. The survey is open to people 16 years of age and older whether they have used cannabis or not.
“An important part of the work of Public Health is to understand what is happening in the community,” says Dr. Nicola Mercer, Medical officer of Health and CEO of Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health. “Surveys like this one are a way that all of us can play a role in the health of our community. I hope residents of the region will take time to participate.”
The survey can be found at WDGPublicHealth.ca/cannabis-survey. Public Health invites anyone 16 years of age or older in Wellington County, Dufferin County or the City of Guelph to participate by June 30. Anyone who completes the survey can enter a draw to win one of five $100 gift cards.
