Join us at two overdose awareness events in Guelph and Orangeville

August 21, 2019

Next week we’ll be at two events dedicated to raising awareness of overdose and reducing the stigma of drug-related death. We hope you’ll join us!

Orangeville: Dufferin’s 3rd annual overdose awareness event

Join us on August 27 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Edelbrock Centre in for Dufferin’s 3rd Annual Overdose Awareness Event. Along with community partners, we’ll be hosting this free event to raise awareness of overdose and reduce the stigma of drug-related death.

The event will include survivor/family stories, a free community BBQ and a health fair (addiction service providers, harm reduction supplies & naloxone kits).

Guelph: Overdose awareness day event

See you Thursday August 29 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St. George’s Square (in front of Royal Bank) for an Overdose Awareness Day event. Join us for a moment of silence, guest speakers reflecting and remembering those we have lost, and leave a message on the memorial flag. There will also be naloxone training, food and drinks.

We hope you stop by in support of our goal to #EndOverdose.
