Guelph COVID-19 Cold Flu Care Clinic

Please note, the Guelph COVID Cold Flu Care Clinic is closing effective March 31, 2023.

The Guelph COVID-19 Assessment Centre is now the Guelph COVID Cold Flu Care Clinic. With the support of local primary care providers, people (including children) with moderate cold and flu symptoms will be able to access assessment and care effective December 1, 2022. Care, assessment and treatment for those with COVID-19 and COVID-19-like symptoms will continue.

  • 400 Southgate Drive, Guelph, ON
  • Located near the Hanlon and Laird road. Serviced by Guelph Transit route 16, seven days a week. Also accessible by car, parking available on site.

This service is by appointment only and can be booked by calling (226) 773-1922.

  • Monday through Friday 8:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. 
  • Saturday and Sunday: 9:15 a.m to 12:45 p.m.

Who can be tested?

  • Guelph area residents are encouraged to contact their family doctor first before booking an appointment at the Guelph COVID Cold Flu Care Clinic. People with mild respiratory symptoms are advised to monitor their symptoms, rest, and drink plenty of fluids.   • As a reminder, most people in the community with symptoms are not eligible for COVID-19 testing. COVID-19 testing is carried out based on provincial guidelines which prioritizes those at increased risk of severe outcomes and those living and working in high-risk settings.

Who is providing front-line service at the centre?

  • The Guelph COVID Cold Flu Care Clinic is staffed by Guelph General Hospital and Guelph Family Health Team staff.
