Accessibility

At Public Health we are committed to meeting the needs of everyone in our community. We strive to provide equal opportunity for all persons to obtain, use and benefit from our programs and services.

You are welcome use personal assistive devices such as service animals, support person(s), and communication, cognition, mobility and medical aids to access our programs and services. We will provide alternative communication and information formats upon request.

Our policies and procedures are intended to meet the requirements of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), 2005, and all related standards and regulations under this legislation. As a non-profit employer in the “50+ employee” category, we have developed a Multi-Year Accessibility Plan to ensure we comply with the AODA. The Plan describes how we have become an accessible organization and how we will continue to do so through 2021.
